Terms & Conditions

Pilates classes and other fitness and exercise classes are supplied by FLUID PILATES BOOTCAMP LTD (whose registered office is at The Basement 117 The Promenade, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 1NW) and whose registered company number is 10906231), subject to the following express Terms.

In these Terms, “we”/”us”/”our” means Fluid Pilates Bootcamp Ltd, and “you”/”your”/”yours” means you, the client.
These Terms together with our booking confirmation (which may be oral or written) constitute the contract (“the Contract”) between us for the supply of services to you. The Contract shall not be varied in any way whatsoever unless agreed in advance in writing between the parties.

 

Booking and Payment

Our online booking system (MBO) shows the availability and price of classes on the date and time you select. This is a real time view of the class and people already booked into it. This can rapidly change, so when fully booked, it is worth checking back later to see if a space has a become available.

 

Method of Payment

You can pay for your class or classes using credit or debit card through our online booking system or app.
Please check information below on cancellations and refunds.

 

Amending Bookings

You may change the date and time of your booking within 12 hours or more before the time of the booked session.
To change a booking please access your online account where you can make necessary amendments.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

We offer a strict 12 hour cancellation policy. Credits for late cancellations are made at the discretion of the Management and dependent on the circumstances.

If you cancel within the cancellation period (up to 12 hours prior to class starting), then your booking will be automatically credited back to your account. Once inside the 12 hours, if we are able to fill your space then we will consider crediting this booking.

In the event that we cancel a class or classes that you have booked, we will contact you by telephone, text or automated email and the class will be automatically returned to your account.

Sometimes, classes are cancelled at the last minute due to staff emergencies and unforeseen circumstances and alternative cover not being available. It is therefore important that Clients’ check the class schedule prior to leaving to join us, to ensure it is running.

 

Expiry of Purchases

The expiry date of each class package is clearly detailed on the website and the start date is the day of purchase. If you need to discuss this with us, for example, you are taking an extended break or illness or injury, please contact us to discuss.

 

Injuries and Special Needs

If you have an injury or specific special need, we ask that you advise us of details by contacting us on 07976 314872, before you make a booking online.

It is your sole responsibility to check with your doctor or medical practitioner about your suitability for our classes and to obtain his/her written consent where necessary. While we take every care to ensure safe practise, there are inherent risks in any exercise programme and we accept no liability whatsoever for any injury or illness you incur through taking our classes (except as a result of our negligence) or by your failure to notify us of any existing health problems, injuries or special requirements.

Please note, we do not have wheelchair access to our studio.

 

Contraindications to using the Fluid Pilates Bootcamp Studio

  • Suspected or diagnosed COVID-19 or symptoms including, high temperature, sore throat, continuous cough, loss of taste and/or smell.
  • Fungal conditions (on the hands or feet), verrucae on the feet and/or warts on the hand. (These must be covered)
  • Pregnancy (all stages). If you are attending a pregnancy massage course, your model must be past their first trimester.
  • Any physical disability or restriction of any kind, in any part of the body, which prevents free movement for delivering (and receiving of) the techniques of each training course.
  • ALL infectious diseases and ANY infectious condition such as Viruses, colds, cold sores, warts as well as bacterial infections such as impetigo, boils, conjunctivitis, sties, ringworm etc.
  • Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Extensive wounds, cuts, bruises or abrasions to hands and/or feet, or in any area of the body where the treatment will be performed.
  • Extensive (or recent/severe) inflammation anywhere in the body (including severe, localised sunburn).
  • Central nervous disorders, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease, trapped, pinched or inflamed nerve.
  • Bulging or herniated disc.
  • Numbness, tingling or reduced sensitivity in the extremities or in any treatment area.
  • Thrombosis/embolism or phlebitis, recent stroke, haemorrhage or blood clots.
  • Excessively high or low blood pressure, dizziness and/or nausea.
  • Serious heart conditions/circulatory disorders/severe varicose veins.
  • Paranoia, psychosis or schizophrenia.
  • Osteoporosis, spondylitis, severe rheumatoid or osteoarthritis.
  • Any undiagnosed condition or illness.
  • Head lice or nits.
  • Recent head injury or neck injury (including whiplash).
  • Recent operations/surgery: anywhere in the body.
  • Diarrhoea and/or vomiting.

 

Arriving on Time

It is a matter of health and safety and class etiquette to ensure you arrive in time for class. Our dynamic classes require time to warm up to prevent injury and late arrival is also disruptive for other Clients.

Note: Wait-list clients sometimes show up in the hope of getting a late space in class. If you are 10 minutes or more late then we will give your space to any waiting clients.

 

Children and young adults (under 16)

We are unable to provide classes to children aged 16 or under.

However, well behaved children over 5 are welcome to sit in Reception where you can watch them through the window. Please be aware, however, that this is at your own risk and any damage, must be paid for.

 

Bookings and Pricings

Prices are subject to change at any time by us before we accept your booking.
All classes are offered subject to availability.

We reserve the right to cancel all confirmed class bookings. In the event or such cancellation our only liability to you shall be to refund the price paid by you for your class booking, or to transfer you to a class at an alternative date and time, whichever you prefer.

 

Entry

The management reserves the right to refuse entry.

 

Fitness and Health

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions Clients hereby confirm that they have no health problems (including without limitation cardiac irregularities; spinal, bone, joint, tendon or ligament injuries; spells of dizziness; asthma (or other breathing difficulty); diabetes, epilepsy or any allergy) which may affect their participation in any sessions at the Studio.

It is the Client’s sole responsibility to notify the Studio before attending any session of any circumstances affecting their health which may be exacerbated through continued use of the Studio and/or which may have arisen or worsened since their last session at the Studio (if any).

Clients are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activity without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition and well being. Clients with low/high blood pressure and/or cardiac irregularities should not attend class. If there is any doubt, the Client should consult his doctor.

The Studio reserves the right to refuse access to any Client if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by the use of Studio facilities.

Clients are required to follow the instructions of the instructor at all times.

 

Limitation of Liability

The Company cannot be held responsible for any particular session, instructor and/or item of Pilates equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Company reserves the right to make alterations to the sessions, instructors and/or equipment, as well as to those ancillary facilities (e.g. showers), provided to Clients, without notice and in its absolute discretion and the Company will not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except insofar as such loss is by law incapable of exclusion.

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that he is capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any programme which he follows or class which he attends. Clients accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and using specialist equipment and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any session. Advice provided by our instructors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.

The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to property of Clients or for injury to Clients on the Studio premises or outside the Studio except insofar as such loss, damage or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

In consideration of their participation in the activities and programmes of the Company and the use of facilities and equipment owned and/or under the control of the Company the Client hereby waives and releases the Company from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting from their participation in any of the Company’s activities or use of the Company’s equipment or facilities save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligent act or omission of the Company.

 

Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to Client’s possessions regardless of the reason.

 

Safety and Hygiene

No shoes, food or glass may be taken into the studio.

You must wear sticky socks for both hygiene and safety whilst using inside the studio.

Clients are not permitted to use the Fire Escape as an entrance or exit, nor may they stopper the door open during classes. This is an emergency only door and must be used as such.

Client’s must not block the Fire Exit with the Box or any other object.

At the end of each class, each client must wipe down every piece of equipment used and/or touched with the tea tree sanitiser provided.

 

COVID-19

Fluid Pilates Bootcamp Ltd is committed to keeping our clients as safe as possible during their time with us. It is imperative that Clients help serve this end by adhering to our revised COVID-19 Safeguarding Rules, which will be visually displayed throughout the premises. Please, take the time to familiarise yourself with these new measures.
